Interested in issues of individual freedoms, women’s rights and minorities, and the file of intellectual and religious reform in the Middle East, among other topics. Previously, he worked as managing editor in the digital department of the Middle East Broadcasting Network “MBN”. He has articles on many Arab and American websites, and he writes a weekly article for Al Hurra.
Egyptian-American, holds a master’s degree in social psychology from Boston College University in the United States. He is the Fulbright Fellow and the Democracy Fellow at the Institute for World Affairs in Washington, DC.
